TMI FRIDAYS Waitress: The cook burned your popcorn shrimp platter. He's going through a nasty divorce. His wife finally got sick of smelling like our fun appetizers and kicked him out. But thats ok cuz the shrimp was starting to smell a little funky and not in the funky chicken kind of way. BTW, you should have ordered our funky chicken dinner its way better than what you have….

I think her mother used to work at our local Denny’s.
She once told me not to order the Captain’s Fish Platter cos it was all frozen fish, and it was only on the “Chef’s Specials” board cos everything in the freezer had thawed the day before.
Another time I was with a friend who ordered a glass of milk, and it tasted a little sour….when we told that same waitress, she sat down at our table and sipped from his glass to taste it.
