Seriously, when my daughters have their school pictures done, on the order form there is a selection for “retouching”, which gets rid of freckles or “flaws”. We never select it, and not just because it costs extra.
On the back of my credt card, where the signature should go, I put “See photo ID.” They can forge my signature, but they can’t forge my face, and even if they could, i’m so ugly who would want to?

When my graduation photos were taken back in 1967, they were “retouched” to get rid of flaws, even though we told them not to.
