i have the kind of face that, when i am “at rest”, ie not involved in converstion, i’m just sitting there thinking or even daydreaming, my expression has been described as “grim.” I’ve had complete strangers walk up to me and say “Cheer up – it can’t be that bad!” And i’m not in a bad mood, or angry – i’m usually very upbeat and cheerful. my face just doesn’t reflect that…my dad has had the same thing happen to him all his life…
