When my kid was in kindergarten, she had sneakers that didn’t lace up, they had Velcro. We were called to a parent teacher conference. Apparently naptime was being interfered with by that skritck sound. Skritch. Skritch.
Now, I know proud parent moments are generally obnoxious. But really, disturbing naptime in kindergarten with ripping velcro does a parent proud.
