Don’t diss the poodles. It’s the owners that make’em look goofy. We had standard poodles when I was a kid – smart, and great water dogs. We lived near a salt water marsh and they used to love coming home covered in muck after chasing squirrels, rabbits, whatever they could find. We just gave them basic field cuts, not that fru-fru stuff.
