And just what hors d’oeuvres are there that Mickey ’s has? Cheese curds? What?

Classic. Get something for free or at a discount but put the full price receipt out for Marlene to see. Although Marlene is probably relieved to get it, ‘cause the chances of it being sterile are a whole lot higher than if Joy actually cooked it. Or if was some superannuated Stouffer’s from the dollar store.I wonder if they had any vintage “wine” with their hors? Something cheaper than Two Buck Chuck, maybe?

Micky D’s what a great meal to have , all that fat and greasy food not to mention the over salted fries. Maybe they had cottage cheese? Is that what Burl is calling cheese curds? I bet the food got cold because they went to the dollar dump to get the Hors devoured before they got home ? Yea leave the receipt out so maybe it will be split between the 4? Well it’s a thought anyway, cheapo’s aren’t they????

I’m going to guess that since this is only the fourth comment that many of the “regulars” were just too put out by this to comment. Took 3 cups of coffee for me to get past it..Joy left the receipt out so the Shemps know how much to tip.

As I go up to make a good breakfast of quinoa fusilli with red sauce and steamed spinach, I’m glad that I could not have any fast foods. Not much motivation for travel, tho’, being vegan for a year. It has my BP lowered (from average 170-180 to 140-150 now) so I will continue at least until Feb of 2014. I don’t want to waste my son’s FF miles when I travel (so go for 4 weeks or more at a shot). If I’m lucky, he’ll come here at least a good weekend during this work. Nice to be able to nosh anywhere we find ourselves when we’re on vacation there.

Just a thought, they spend, oh, 7 hours a day sitting at the tablte eating. And they aren’t lightweights So why haven’t the chairs worn out/fallen apart by now? Surely the seats should be down to the foam, At the very least they have dents in the seats. Time for a new set. I spotted a nice one at the Goodwill yesterday.

Cheese curds are actually just that: the curds that result when cheese is being made. In cheese country (like Wisconsin) they take the curds and deep fry them. Awesome taste, but wow… CHOLESTEROL!

The tablecloth looks like Burl and Dale have been busy with their crayons.

I’m told McDonald’s serves fried cheese curds up in Canada so they can offer poutine….dunno about Illinois.

Nice that they call it a “dinner party,” and that Marlene thinks it’s “lovely”.

It’s good to have friends who share your taste. That keeps people like the Pennys occupied, so the rest of us don’t have to worry about inviting them.
