Perhaps “Pasta Gone Wild” would fit the bill.

For several years, the afternoon shift manager at a grocery store where I shop was a huge fellow… not fat, just big.My guess would be 6’6" and 350 lbs…. he towered over the lanky 22-year-old who looked very tall standing alone.

He was also called “Tiny.”It was on his name-tag, and even embroidered on his apron.

And years ago, my neighbors had a huge Great Dane (is there another kind?) named “Pee Wee.”

I think that sort of irony is pretty common… but I can’t think of a nickname that means huge, or giant, nor do I know a small person or animal called by it….. the closest I can think of off hand is a neighbor’s tiny chihuahua named Ali, after Muhammad Ali.

Susan, I was watching a home renovation show once, and the home owners had a Great Dane named Fezzik. Although this was straight forward, not ironic, I loved it. (Just in case; Fezzik was a very large character in the movie Princess Bride, played by Andre the Giant.)

Was there not a NFL player nicknamed the “Refridgerator”? Due of course to his size. I doubt if Brick Wall would have sounded as good. …. just a little piece of interesting….. now my mind is full. Come back later when there’s more room.
