From what I understand it’s a bad idea to put bread in the fridge because it looses nutrients. For those who don’t know, a bread box was a special box (usually metal with a sliding door) to store bread in so it wasn’t left out in the open and dry out.. Actually I keep my bread in the fridge too, but I’ve heard about the it loosing nutrition if you keep it there.
