Red, it’s why you have Rover!

And why do you have poor spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills, Red…because this teacher is crushing your hopes, dreams, and aspirations instead of instructing you in these basic skills! Concentrate on the things that really matter, like your trusty co-pilot Rover!

Well why not? Every day I wake up and wonder what new atrocity he will commit today! He ain’t called obamanation for nothing.

As for Red, I think his teacher ought to separate subjects. If he was to write a paper on what he wanted to be when he grew up she ought to grade the paper based on that subject. Make a notation about his spelling and grammar, punctuation, etc but don’t grade his paper based on it, English spelling and grammar is a separate subject.

All are ignoring the fact that the President simply doesn’t have the power we give them credit for. Congress is where the problems are – Witness that we are still in financial crisis and Congress went home for the weekend. We are about to have another credit agency lower our country’s credit rating because we cannot work together and achieve anything.

If its a republican in office, then democrats place all the blame on him, if its a democrat, then all blame is shifted to congress and pres is not to blame for a thing…….as matter of fact, he won’t ever mis-speak…as long as they have a TelePrompter in front o him.

Well, I thought today’s strip was pretty funny until I read everyone’s comments! Sheeeeesh!!

Way to ruin a great comic with all of the cranky comments! I come here to get away from nasty people, not to hear more.

BTW, Don’t worry Red in 40 more years (for you) spelling and grammar will be things of the past IMHO. Like OMG D!.

I must say at this point in the game….Doc Toon is correct. There is a severe mental malady going around the comics lately. Some people seem to see republicans and democrats around every corner. I think I’ll stick with seeing dead people thanks. :-)

Macushlalondra: Funny, you never attack him for the real atrocities like recruiting first-person-shooter addicts to kill on command because they don’t know people from pixils..Brickster: No sic needed. They were fresh out of British when that was written and that is the correct British spelling. Besides, “spelling” (as an authoritative system) wasn’t invented until over a half century later.
