I watched Tulane-SMU this morning. The crowd in the stands was meager, neither team played particularly well, and I have no affiliation with either university (I’m not even from that part of the country). But it was still the best thing on TV at that time.
vtcwvet, really? I retired 15 years ago. I have so much to do there are never enough hours in the day, and I do not waste my time watching TV. (except for my local news/weather along with TDS and the Colbert Report on comedy central I watch no TV at all, because I have way too much to do)

The first time I noticed the sound off shoes squeaking in a televised basketball game (many years ago), I thought something was wrong with my TV set.
