I have an iron made totally of iron. One would heat it in an oven or fireplace before holding it with a mitt or towel and using it on clothes. Now it is decoratively painted and used to hold a door open. If my clothes are wrinkled, I use a steamer or pop them into the dryer with a damp cloth. Most of my fabrics are wrinkle free. My mother and grandmother used to put creases in jeans with irons.On another note, why does it seem far less than 1% land on the $100 luxury tax square but always get Free Parking? It also seems too many of the wrong people go to jail, straight to jail, without passing go or collecting $200.Reminiscently,C.

Replaced by a CAT. Sigh. I was for ditching the shoe — too easily confused with the car.

Ha!
@pcolli: Ha!
I think I was pushing for the robot as the iron’s replacement.
