Forgot to say @pshearer from yesterday….they actually handed off the strip a long time before the label changed.

Before 7-Up upgraded its image to “The Uncola,” it was known as the drink to give your kid when he was sick and had a fever. It wasn’t supposed to have the caffeine that colas had, and it was sweet so the kids would drink it to keep hydrated. I remember having to drink it many times for that reason, and reading at the bottom of each green glass bottle, “You Like It, It Likes You.” Eventually there was a spin-off drink called, “Like.”

I’d rather have the Hawaiian Punch…and maybe even the drink too.

Drink to me only with thine eyes … on second thought, I’d rather pop you one with my pop.

Tequila mixes well with all of those. Or you can just have it by itself.

I forget, who’s the one with the red hat thing, and which soda did he advertise?
