Electra’s right. If Cathy had really wanted to take her along, she could have gone to any number of spas, resorts, etc., that would have welcomed her dog with open arms. She was just an inconvenience that Cathy didn’t want to be bothered with so that poor little thing got dumped off for the week at “grandma and grandpa’s” house instead. If I were Electra, I’d be mad at my “mom” for doing that to me too! But at least Cathy had the good sense to leave her precious pup in the care of people that knew and loved her rather than taking her to a kennel and letting a bunch of scary (to Electra), random strangers do it instead. :-/

I would bet that Electra had a better time at Grandma & Grandpa’s house than she would have had at the spa. I bet she had a better time than Cathy had. But remember, what happens at Grandma’s, stays at Grandma’s.
