So true. Though, in truth, I do get a bit tired of naps when I’m on vacation. The best naps are with my head down on my desk, or leaning back in my chair.
I don’t mind the naps while on vacation because I can feel that my body and mind needed that downtime to rejuvenate. After all, that’s what vacations are for. But after a week, I am ready to go back to my regular routine because I feel out of sorts doing nothing. I guess I’m not ready for retirement doing nothing on a beach.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Monday! Have a great day, all!
Since our vacations tend to be busy ones – not just lying on a beach somewhere – I find 7 days too short. 2 weeks is enough. By then I am ready to see the real world again.

Many of us have the best intentions—on vacation, and in general. But in terms of execution of those intentions? Get back to me when you’re home …
