This strip, dated today, was actually first drawn on May 27th 2000, right after the unexpected death of Peanuts creator Charles Schultz. She’s not crazy. She’s grieving.
As lovely a tribute today to Cathy Guisewite’s good friend and mentor, Charles Schulz, as it was 22 years ago after his passing on February 12, 2000 at the age of 77. I loved Peanuts as a kid, and I love them still. Thank you, GoComics, for continuing to run his precious comic strips here for ALL of us to enjoy reading every single day! (。♥‿♥。)

Loved this tribute when Charles Schulz’s last Peanuts strip was published, and love it today in memoriam. Thanks CG for posting it again. :)
