Mom: ...But you should bend more from the waist when you hover or you'll strain your back! Always floss after salads! Save more than you spend! Fold clothes right out of the dryer! Write prompt thank you notes! Eat fruit with every meal! Count your blessings and never walk with scissors pointing up! First I hovered over you... Then you hovered over me... Now I'm hovering over you again! Some mothers and daughters go "full circle". We go "full triangle".

My mother and I have a VERY different relationship. Nobody hovers. We just go about our lives, talk once a month or so and visit once a year. It’s about all we can take of each other.
