Solution, Cathy. Listen up! Go grab a men’s swim trunk ( in a nice smaller size than your usual female sizing, since it’s guy stuff, so that’s a good start), and pick out a women’s sports top as bare as you can stand it. Perfect, trendy swim look.

This swimsuit is cute too, although I’d want the skirt (I think that’s a skirt and not a ruffle) to be longer so it’s not at the widest part of my hips. I’m not sure I’m up for another week of swimsuits because I feel like we’ve said all that needs to be said about them. That aside, I think some men would be fine with not owning or wearing a swimsuit at all, so what the saleslady said is sort of pointless.

After two weeks of trying to find the “perfect” swimsuit, Cathy needs to just give up and forget about it because this is nothing but an exercise in futility. She’s got plenty of them at home from years past that I’d be willing to bet on it have never been worn a single time and since she doesn’t appear to go to a pool or beach anyhow, I just don’t see the point of this. All she’s doing is wasting her time (right along with ours!) and throwing away good money on yet another one that she’s NEVER going to wear ….. just like she did with all the others!

Hello and Happy Monday, fellow Cathy fans. Hope you all had a really great weekend and a very nice day today, too! ♥

I think most people cannot find a perfect swimsuit as most people do not have perfect bodies. I am rather pleased that the current men’s bathing suit style is very much like men’s shorts. I find casual shorts that are comfortable for me rather hard to find so I buy bathing suits and wear them as shorts. Also happy I only have to fit one part of my body – although I normally wear a loose t-shirt while swimming – something about sun on my shoulders and back that causes burns and blisters (and probably skin cancer) way to quickly.

I’m so glad I found the right suit about 10 years ago…and since I rarely go anywhere to wear it, it’s still like new.

Yeah … interesting to note the difference between genders when swimsuit shopping, isn’t it?
