HAPPY EASTER TO YOU Mom: The chocolate bunny, once a source of so much happiness. Now, it only brings guilt. Guilt before eating. Guilt during eating. Guilt after eating. But what if we just say "NO!" To chocolate bunny guilt? What if I give YOU a bunny and you give ME a bunny and we simply give each other permission to enjoy it? What if this tiny bunny contains a huge lesson about acceptance and letting go and appreciating the sweetness of love and family and sharing on this special, special day?? Mom and Cathy: Chomp Mom: Hoo, boy! We're going to regret THAT one later!! Cathy: DAD!! Dad: Don't look at me. I tune out mother's sermons when she's anywhere near an Easter basket.

Happy Easter everyone. Jesus is the reason for the season but there is no reason that chocolate can not still be pleasing, within reason.

I have a Lindt gold foil bunny calling my name, sitting on the table. To go with it, some Lindt chocolate truffle red foil eggs. Only the best for this Easter girl.

I hope the Easter Beagle…I mean, Easter Bunny showed up at your house. I heard he got vaxed, but he was still wearing a carrot printed face mask.

Happy Easter! The Lord is risen and all is right with the Earth, no matter how it looks. It’s all in God’s hands.
As for the comic, I have embraced my aging body. I wear what I want, I eat what I want, within reason, and without punishing myself for it. I am the lady from the poem, When I am Old, I Shall Wear Purple. It took a cancer diagnosis, but I am finally happy and free to be myself.

Happy Easter or Happy Sunday (pick which greeting you like the best).
It is +15C (about 60F) today with warm sunshine. Still too much snow and ice around so the wind is a touch chilly but I was able to get out and roll up the snow fencing.
I hope everyone has a chance to enjoy today.

Bunnies and lambs can inhabit the same space in my house…but I don’t really go for chocolate bunnies unless they are really dark chocolate. We had chocolate creme puffs…without the guilt.
