Saleswoman: Floral blouses! Floral skirts! Floral hats! Floral tanks! Floral pants! Floral shoes! Cathy: No, thanks! I have all kinds of floral clothes from last spring that I hardly ever touched. Saleswoman: Exactly! Those have to be dug out, cut back and replaced with happy new spring flowers! We're not dressing. We're re-planting the closet.

I’ll jump on here Thursday night to read/comment on this strip. In the meantime, though, I just found Cathy appearing in a classic “FoxTrot” strip. (That “Random” button under comics, that takes you to a random previous date, does wonders.)

I have one floral print – a scarf to wear with a very tailored suit; I wore it once and it has resided in a drawer since then! :-D

I have some floral print items, which I enjoy. I think flowers are pretty in small doses, and they make plain outfits happier, in my opinion. I like floral prints better than geometric for sure, although I will not be “re-planting” every year, haha.

At least the saleslady knows where most of the clothes she sells ends up.
Mother Nature’s April Fools joke – give us really bright, hot sunshine along with a cold north wind. Ah well. I can see some open water in the bay. Glad everyone got their ice huts off the lake before yesterday’s deadline. It would be really difficult to retrieve them now – and high fines for not having them off the lake today. Our 12’ beach is now well over 200’ as the water level is so low in the lake. Of course, other than that small band of open water the lake is still covered in ice and I am not into polar bear swimming.
Happy Friday today (Friday being defined as the last working day of the week). If you have to work tomorrow, happy Thursday today.
