Except they have to stop watching to go get their take out turkey dinner from the local restaurant.

Remember, Governor “do as I say, not as I do” in NY says, no more than 10 at the table! With 11 you get the virus.

Oddly enough, I also find the act of watching others cook magnificient meal satisfying. I don’t do it and will never do it, but I enjoy watching other people do it. …where did I leave that poptart?

It doesn’t all come out at the same time. Fairly close, though.

I’ve hosted plenty of Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners over the years but my favorite ones are those spent at other people’s houses with THEM doing all the holiday cooking (instead of me) for a change! ;-)

Now that I’m exercising at home more, I switch between watching cooking shows and HGTV. I like the ones by Guy Fieri where the contestants have to make a dish from scratch, on their own, in a short time with the requirements that he throws at them. It’s usually quite amusing and I’m impressed with what they come up with. The ones where it’s a woman in a fully stocked kitchen with someone else to do the chopping, measuring, and dirty work for her, aren’t quite as interesting to me. I know she makes it look easy and has rehearsed it many times before.

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Tuesday! Glad to have you back, karlykru!!! We missed you! ❤❤❤ Have a great day, all!

Watching cooking shows makes me hungry so I don’t watch them – or most any other show for that matter. But eating food someone else cooked, yup, I am all in for that.

Sad ending to the meeting yesterday – although not at all unexpected. We have to postpone our annual variety show held the last weekend in February. This will be the first February without a show since the theatre we were in burned down in the mid 80’s. But, the safety and well being of our performers comes first. It does give us a chance to catch up on going through the old props and costumes and disposing of the ones we will no longer use – or at least give us an idea of what we do have crammed into our storage area.

Please don’t take chances with your health this Thanksgiving. Not seeing everyone on this occasion may very well mean you can see them many more times in the years to come.

What a multi-tasker. Personally, my head would probably explode if I saw so much food at once … ha.

Also: Wonder why, in recent weeks, these “Cathy” comics have become so tiny … ?

    HI, MOM. Hello, Clan.
