Love me some UGGS. I know croc’s are more generally practical, but UGG’s are so comfortable. Fall dog walking is way more comfortable.

Sorry, not an UGG fan. Their name says it all for me. They looked okay on teen girls in the early 2000’s, but now they just look gross and sloppy with people’s dirty, sweaty feet in them. Plus they smell if worn every day. Ugh. I mean, ugg.

Strange. The regular strips are really small lately as others have noticed but the ‘coming soon’ strips are huge.

Another beautiful day today except I took advantage of the warm sunshine and walked down to the lake. The high winds and waves we experiences over the past month have caused a lot of damage to the retaining wall across 3 properties – including the section we rebuilt in the spring. Looks like we have to rebuild the entire wall next spring if the water level is low enough. That is about 600’ of wall. My two neighbours are not thrilled either. Never doubt the power of Mother Nature! Of course the original builder putting the concrete blocks on a base of sand did not help either.

I don’t work outside my house so it’s not enough for me to just blindly love something no matter what it costs like it does for our favorite little shopaholic here. It’s also got to be affordable as well as usable for its actual intended purpose so if it strikes out on all three counts for me, then I just have to let the stores keep it!

Uggs for me…I’ve lived in them since I saw my first pair in 1988. Nobody else had them then and I just thought they were so uggly they were cute. I don’t put bare feet in them tho…I always wear socks. And they can be washed…carefully.
