I have noticed that small “fun” sized candy bars do make me feel like I’m not eating as many calories as I know I am. I’m okay with that. Little tiny candy in a big ol’ bag. Go AMERICA!

While I see that Cathy is indulging in a little bit of pre-Halloween candy herself, it appears as though her gluttonous M-I-L has pretty much eaten up all the rest of it by herself ….. which means yet another trip back to the store whenever Cathy can get around to it (whether she has the time or not) in order to replenish their supply for all the little trick-or-treaters that will be coming to their door two nights from now. My advice to her would be that it she wants any of it to still be around by then, she’d better keep it locked up in her car’s trunk where no one has a key to it but her (which is what she SHOULD have done in the first place)! :-/

There is chocolate cravings and there is respect for other people’s property. They are not mutually exclusive. Cathy needs a spine. A simple “Leave our stuff alone” would go well here.My wife seems to have reduced the amount of candy since we are not expecting to many. Too bad since I always get the leftovers.

Had a pleasant time at the health clinic today – got my super strength flu shot for the year. A painless stab with excellent benefits. That makes every year since 1987. Glad I could keep the tradition going this year. Just too bad it does not deal with covid-19 yet.
