I still wonder why women wearing their boy friends cloths is hot but guys wearing the girl friends cloths is not. I guess that is part of being sexist?
Boyfriend-cut and actual men’s clothes are different things. Boyfriend-cut is basically a slouchy, relaxed fit, as if they were the boyfriend’s, but tailored for her. Men’s clothes are tailored for men, usually more boxy and doesn’t account for women’s curves. I suppose if a woman wanted to use her boyfriend’s or husband’s clothes as part of her wardrobe, she could (with his permission of course), but they wouldn’t look great unless she used a belt or something to make it more flattering. Not my style, but some make it look good.

I can honestly say that I have NEVER tried on my husband’s clothes in the almost-32 years we’ve been married nor have I ever had the desire to do so either. Even if I had wanted to confiscate something of his for my own personal use, at 5’ 3" tall I’d be completely swallowed up by clothes made to fit a 6’ 2" tall man so what would be the point?!? :-D

I am with you Gretchen’s Mom – I have never in the 44 years we have been married tried on my wife’s clothing and neither have I wanted to – of course me being XL and her being S it would be impossible even if I did want to.

I used to buy men’s clothes because I wanted my sweaters and t-shirts really large…when the more fitted clothing came in, I gave a lot of my clothes to my hubby and they look great on him. Some pretty trees around here on these fall days.
