There’s an idea for a site! “InstaGuilt”!

This is why I accept very few “friend” requests on my FB page. I don’t want them writing on my “wall”. Do they even call it that anymore? Hate that term. I don’t mind comments on what I’ve written, but don’t clutter up my page with stuff you find “cute”.

I think most of this was very common 11 years ago, but I hardly see this anymore (posting on “walls” to have a conversation). And I certainly don’t know anyone who tries to make me feel guilty for not responding quick enough. How people act online is a good indicator of how they will act in person. There’s a woman in my neighborhood who posted on Next Door that she enjoys making comments to upset people. Needless to say, I avoid her and my other neighbor says she now regrets adding her as a social media friend.

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Wednesday! Have a great day, all!

This is exactly why I rarely ever look at my wall/news feed (and it certainly is not news that is fed there). I’ll stick with my twitter feed for my news thank you. I get a lot of info that helps my programming from the people I follow. Then of course there is NASA, and Micro SF/F stories. Choose carefully who you follow or are friends with and social media can be a good thing.

Middle of the week already. Sure is short with a holiday Monday. Have a good mid week day.

Yup—it’s often hard to prioritize while online.
