This comic was made when FB was popular, so I’m guessing she means that FB is a place where she could waste a lot of time. Now, more people are on Instagram and other social media. I’m still on FB for the groups where I get information on different things we’re involved in. But I really dislike FB and pretty much all social media because people don’t know how to behave on it, and people end up being really childish, nasty, and/or annoying. It’s pretty sad that people can’t be kind and respectful of others sometimes. On that note, I enjoy our little group here so thank you for that. Have a great day, all!

The whole “social media” thing is such a waste of time.

Yes, social media, if misused, can be an incredible waste of time. But in these times it is a great way to stay in touch with people you cannot go visit.I do agree with lightenup – social media has really become antisocial media for so many people.

It is Monday, the long weekend is almost over – but I did get a lot of stuff done around the house – and even found time to relax. I hope everyone is enjoying the day – and staying safe. It is not over yet.

Yeah—I tread carefully on social media. Since you never know who might see your posts, I never put up anything I wouldn’t want a boss to see. Social media is a nice way to keep in touch, though.

I stay connected with friends and family on FB…it’s been a great help especially with my foot surgery and covid this year.
