Yeah, the easier it is to communicate the harder it is to talk.

Technology never quite does what we really need for it to do.

Ahh … the limits on minutes. Looks like Cathy’s mom just can’t win here. “Technology”, indeed.
HI, MOM. Happy Sunday, “Cathy” Clan.

I find it hard to believe that Cathy’s mom would call for only 1 minute. Calls with our daughters tend to average about 60 minutes – even if it is the second call in a week.
Happy Sunday everyone. Even though it is not sunny today but raining, which is ok since it helps melt away some of the snow.Had a great day yesterday – a long walk with my wife out on the lake in the warm sunshine. Stopped on the way back to join some of the neighbours around a fire – keeping about 3 metres (10’) away from each other – more than the recommended distance. It is great to live in a neighourhood where there is space to maintain a safe distance and still enjoy company. Please keep safe everyone!

Anyone else notice that in spite of all the illustrations of touch tone, mobile and smartphones, Cathy’s mom’s phone says “dial dial dial”? not “Beep beep beep”?

That technology has come in mighty handy since I’ve been sidelined with the foot surgery and now that nobody can go anywhere, it’s even more important. We were just chuckling during an office meeting last week that we wouldn’t have been able to do any of our work if this had happened back in the 80’s before the technology we have today.
