Unfortunately, in “real old age” she won’t feel like wearing all those sassy shoes!

When I get to my “real old age” my old shoes won’t fit – because i wear them until they fall apart and hot glue won’t hold them together any more. So I guess it is a new pair of shoes every few years for me.

Last day here in Frankfurt and it is drizzling. So how did we spend the first part of the afternoon – - at a shopping mall. Bleach. Could not understand why my wife wanted to shop there since most of the stores were either American or even when they had a German name they carried American brands. The same ones we can buy at home. Ah well, dinner tonight with 5 or so of my wife’s family then start packing for the flight home tomorrow afternoon.

I hope everyones’ day is sunny.

For some reason my clothes seem to last until I get new ones. Then the old clothes age and wearout overnight and I find them ready for goodwill. Amazing how new shirts can make my treasured old shirts look so shabby when just yesterday, they were my Sunday best.

I’m in the midst of clearing our wardrobes. Can a woman have too many jeans? Apparently I can :/ So it’s keep, donate or trash everything in our closet!

It’s a vicious cycle, isn’t it, Cathy? But, at least all those shoes might fit again years down the road …
