Face it, only the pictures that are important enough to get a frame or go in your wallet are ever seen again. The rest languish in the pre-trash bin drawer or file.
OMG! I am so much like Cathy today it scares me! I have tons and tons of pictures going back at least 25 years or so, waiting to be put in albums whenever I “get around” to it. But unlike Cathy, every one of them are stored in large yellow office-type envelopes — all of which are marked with the year they were taken and then placed in chronological order in boxes. And what pertinent information isn’t already written on the backside of every picture now, there’s a little sticky note on the outside of each individual envelope the developed rolls of film came in, giving me all the info I need so that when the day comes (sometime) in the future and I’m finally ready to tackle that huge project I’ll be able to do it without looking at each and every one of them, trying to figure out (with my really bad memory!) the day/event it was taken and maybe even wondering who the people in the picture are/were ….. assuming, of course, that I can still find and buy photo albums to put them in that is!

Yup—been there, done that. I still have a few printed rolls of really old photos to sort/do something with … though nowhere near the quantity of our favorite Nut-Job. Whew! [smile]

I have pictures stuffed in every desk in the house…I will probably never get around to putting all of them in albums. The really treasured ones are already in albums, but for future, I think I just prefer to keep them in my phone.
