Actually, for all of the grief that Baby Boomers get, they worked their tails off. I’m not saying that was necessarily a good thing, but one thing they weren’t was lazy.
While I’m sure there are many responsible Baby Boomers, it is pretty well known that as a group, they are unprepared for retirement. And we all know Cathy and Irving are doing nothing to change that. An epic eye roll today esp due to that last panel.

I am a boomer and it is not all about me. However, I am not ready for retirement. Well, financially I am but just not ready to give up work I enjoy. Maybe in another 5 or 10 years I might be ready even though that will put me into the mid to late 70’s.
I am a member of the older boomers (72). In fact, we are more of the “sandwich” generation. We are taking care of our parents and helping our Generation X children out of their doubt. Also our Millennial grandchildren need a hand. This is our pleasure. We are not self absorbed. We are self-less. In my own defense , I have SS and a pension and 401k. I did plan ahead!! Sorry to rant.
