Glad I have lived my life without having to worry about my belongings being thrown out into the yard!
Happy Thursday everyone. Not looking so great here – freezing rain in the forecast for this afternoon. That makes the 3rd time since New Years Day. Normally we might get rain once in January. The only good thing is we have some fresh show on top of the old snow that has accumulated (over a metre (3 feet)) so far. When the rain ices over on top of the fresh snow it is easy to plow and does not create a skating rink in the driveway. I would be much happier to keep all that frigid air some of you have been experiencing and you keep the rain down where it is warm enough to not freeze. Ah well, another good day to stay in where it is warm and dry.
Omg, just stop the madness! I don’t know a single (or married hehe) woman who weeps, shrieks, or throws stuff out in the yard over a gift. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve heard they exist, but they are so rare that it’s a crazy story when it happens. I have a big problem with today’s comic because it just encourages the idea that men shouldn’t attempt to do anything to please their woman because she’s just going to make his life miserable over it. So ridiculous!! Most women are like most people, and are thankful for anything their man does for them. And if ANYONE, man or woman, is with someone who weeps, shrieks, or throws stuff around over a gift, then they should either seek help or get out of that relationship because the other person is nuts and it could be a sign of a bigger issue.

Celebrating (however weirdly … ) a successful Valentines’ Day? Sign me up for that. Belongings into the yard? Taken to the “Cathy” extreme as usual. AACK!
