Sorry, but for all the money we spend on looking like someone else’s idea of what we think we want to look like, we still look like ourselves in funny cloths.

Only the ones who don’t think for themselves believe this sort of thing. It’s plainly obvious that the sales lady’s comments are tongue in cheek, just hoping to sell something to her favorite sucker, I mean customer, while having some fun at the same time. People don’t usually buy into these lines… just take a look at them “transport you from the materialistic world”, “free you from superficiality” etc. [eye roll]

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Monday! Have a great day!

Saleslady got it right in the last panel – inside your wallet is the purpose of all the ‘must have’ fashionable clothing for various activities. I must be able to think for myself for as lightenup pointed out, I don’t fall for this. I just wear what is comfortable for what I am doing at that time.

Did everyone get a chance to see the eclipse of the moon last night? It was perfect here – clear skies. The only problem was the moon at the time of the eclipse was directly over the house so I had to go outside to see it. I only got a brief look – something about -37C with windchill made it rather uncomfortable to stay out long.

Well, at least she’s only paying one dollar (per day of the year) to wear this … um … interesting stuff.

Nah. ’scuse me, while I dip into my (thankfully bottomless) bucket of [eye-rolls], once again.

    HI, MOM. Greetings, Clan.
