They say that people who have dogs exercise more consistently than people who don’t have dogs. Can’t resist those cute faces! Good morning, Cathy clan!

It’s easier to do something about someone else’s well-being than it is about your own.

The only problem is that a walk with a dog is never brisk! They have to stop and check every smell around. But I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Now they’re claiming a brisk walk can help prevent breast cancer. Some people have wild imaginations. lol

Walking makes you feel better and more energetic even after it’s over.

Just caught up on a weeks worth of strips and comments. Appropriate arc on exercise last week. We (my wife, 2 daughters and I) spend a week visiting Mickey Mouse in Orlando. Eating at restaurants is not a good way to watch your calorie intake as most food portions (especially in the USA it seems) are way too big. But, in spite of that, managed to gain only 3 pounds. Must be because of the average of 6 miles a day we walked. lightenup Tried to wave to you on the flight back home but we flew over Savannah instead of Atlanta this time. Did wave in your direction but I suspect we were too far away for you to see it.

If Cathy would walk poor Electra more often than she does then neither one of them would be as pudgy as they both are!!!!! :- (
Hi, rgcviper!

As a “survivor” I know we weren’t told that “walking” prevents breast cancer, but we were told that “exercise” (or lack thereof) can be a factor. I’ve done ballet for over 40 years and I still got it.

Took the words outta my keyboard, legaleagle.
Plus, this way, Cathy helps both herself and Electra.
HI, MOM. Hello, Clan.
