A little piece of trivia: Today’s strip was first published on Monday, Sept 15, 2008. It was the first C&B daily strip that came in color. Daily C&B strips continued appear in color until Saturday, May 5, 2009. Two days later, on May 6th, dailies returned to b&w, and seven weeks later the Sunday C&B strips were dropped. A very sad turn of events for a pretty good comic strip, IMHO.

Strod and GweedoThis is one of the funniest cartoons of all times, and by that I mean since I became aware of cartoons in the mid 50’s in the South Bend Tribune! The artwork was great and the subject matter was excellent! It’s sad that more people didn’t follow it.
