No doubt! But what about a 1953 Raymond Loewy Studebaker coupe? Looked like it was going 100 MPH parked and beautiful beyond belief. Or my HS chick magnet, a lowered1952 Chevy 2-door hardtop with a bored and stroked GMC truck engine, shaved head, dual exhausts with glass pack mufflers and rolled and pleated naugahyde upholstery. OMG! I’d buy it today if I could.I had to sell my red MINI S convertible (arthritis) last year and got a silver Chevy Equinox instead. I know it’s sensible and easy to get in and out of, but I have lost it several times in parking lots. I miss my red racer a lot.
And the two 2-barrel Holley carbs on top. (A bitch to balance with so few cylinders.) The six was quite torque-y and very fast off the line. I loved that car and had it through college.
The Penny’s “new” is probably 4 or 5 years old. In the past we’ve been treated to panels of Burl and Joy ganging up on a salesman (who’s going to ultimately get the best of them).
Could be 10 years old. Can’t see the wipers but I assume they’re there somewhere. Also looks like a bench seat which is rare these days and not much of a head rest either.
Since I reached the salary level at which I “retired” (being laid off and not finding anything remotely similar, so I free-ance when I get any of that) I always bought a new car every 3-4 years, trading in the old. Now I drive the last one I bought (over 9 years ago) and I don’t like to drive (never did) so I just do the errands I need to. I agree cars all look the same
But Gym, a 4 door for those people? They need all the space they can to enter and leave a vehicle. I do fine having 5 doors (because I’ve always hauled all kinds of things around).
Sorry Im late, was trying to download a game and it doesn’t recognize me! My MIL and FIL bought a new chevy many years ago, she said to me “Doesn’t it look just like a Cadillac?” Uh, no its a Chevy! Kept that comment to myself.
But that car looks different than any other car out there. It can’t tell whether it’s coming or going. It seems to be facing to the right, yet the red light on the right, and the amber light on the left, indicate it is facing left, as red lights are always, except for this one car, at the rear of the car.

However, we do tend to lose track of it in the parking lot at the mall…

This past summer I bought a 2005 Buick LaSabra with less than 13,000 miles. Should last me forever as I only use about a tank of gas a month.
