    W. can always be like other former presidents and do speaking engagements…..but then again, that might not be a good idea.

I’m sure all the cows in Crawford are busy planning an escape.

Unlike an average American, he’s got millions in savings, stocks that are still worth something, and a house that isn’t mostly owned by a foreclosure-minded bank. Other than that, he’s just a regular joe.

Bush also has a lifetime of Secret Service coverage, health care, retirement benny’s, use of Air Force One ,etc.etc. ‘til he dies. All at taxpayers expense. Not bad for only 8 years on the job…

I hammered Obama yesterday, and have four years to tear at him. Let me have a couple more days of mocking Chimpy before I lose him forever.

Have at him, by all means!!

But don’t forget his brother Jebby and all those brain-dead voters still lurking out there… the Shrubs might yet be back for round three.

Ann Richards had no idea what prescience she showed when she said of George H.W. Bush, “He was born with a silver foot in his mouth.” Had she only been able to see 2000-2008…   “W” will never want for something to do. He’s got a lot of markers he can cash in.   Rather than focus on that, though, my heart is filled on this historic day with hope and pride for our nation. I feel as though a 16-ton weight has been lifted from my shoulders…

Actually, I don’t think I’m going to bother with Chimpy after tomorrow. I’m going on vacation, and most of the rest of this week I will be re-running the storyline from February 2006, when Her Maj went hunting with Cheney. Hope you all enjoy it.

And thanks to whichever one of you celebrated the Inauguration today by buying three books from http://www.newadventuresofqueenvictoria.com. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate, and think everyone should celebrate that way, too.

For the Boomers, including GB2, unemployed is the new retired.

It wasn’t me today, but I did buy all three NAOQV books in one pop……a great investment in the advancement of original humor (imho). Enjoy the vacation, Pab, and am looking forward to the recycling of Cheney…..one of your best!

The law’s been changed, i think - ex-pres only gets ten years of Secret Service.   I figure the Republicans hope something bad will happen to Clinton.
