Someone gave our rector a clock that plays Christmas carols on the hour. It was lovely – for the first day. Then he removed the batteries.
At least it doesn’t play the Chipmunk’s song.
The company that produces such a thing should be fined for ruining Christmas.
When we can, we send things like that to my daughter. She gets a kick out of them and down the road, they will be collector’s items worth something.
Stop buying useless crap for Christmas.
Which is why mom not only removed the batteries (easily replaced), but also hid the tree ornament driving her crazy. Dad & I have been unable to find the little bauble. But we do have batteries at the ready!!!
