I had such a crush on the lovely Miss Anderson back in th’ day…in the first season of “The X-Files” she got pregnant an’ married, and pregnancy didn’t agree with her looks all that well…but in the subsequent seasons, she just got sexier an’ prettier an’ hotter….The sexual tension an’ teasing interplay with serious moments were sometimes intense, an’ of course, the second big-screen X-Files movie had them cozily shacked up, which answered a lot of the dreams, hopes an’ fears of the TV show’s fan base…It was a most interesting and entertaining series, but it is available nowhere that I can find in syndication…only for purchase online or in DVD (or Blu-ray) formats…I guess eventually, like “The Twilight Zone,” the entire series – all the episodes – will be out there in a boxset for a few hundred $$$…It might be worth it…but I may not live that long…~ ~ ~ footnote: Gillian Anderson is not as steamy hot now as she was (to me, anyway) in the Nineties, when the series was in it’s highly-acclaimed first run…She’s still very attractive, but just not the “Scully” that won my heart in the Nineties…

The complete box set has been out for years and was actually fairly affordable (but I think is out of print and starting to get harder to find).
