That’s one out of shape bean bag.

I volunteer at two thrift shops; came across a German-speaking SpongeBob doll.

Don’t give him any ideas, Opal.

And I certainly wouldn’t want to go back to platform shoes, elephant-ear bellbottoms and wedgies—the shoes. Not that I’d want the other kind, either.

Oh come on Opal, have a little fun and sit in it with him…

Just wait until you try getting out of it now, Earl. You’ll regret it!

I’d love to see Opal trying to get out of that thing.

The 60’s and 70’s ………………….LOST.

At first I thought “Ah, a slip ‘n slide, that’s what I want for Christmas!” But then I remembered you have to throw yourself down to slide and I’m too old to do that without hurting myself. Maybe that thing where you put your foot on the red dot and a hand on the blue one while someone else does the same and so on. Used to play that with the old girl back in the day. That was fun but now that I have this arthritis . . . well. Maybe some checkers.

I agree with Opal, and a bean bag chair is not something I would get from a thrift shop. Eek.

A couple of you have stated it exactly. Like that little sports car I was looking at, I could get into it, but I could never get out of it.

Just have 911 on standby.

If anyone here thinks they miss the 70s, or would like to know something about it, the movie “Serial” is available on DVD. Crosscheck it’s the one with Martin Mull, though—it’s the comedy, not the serial crime one.

I still miss lawn darts.
