The Church had all the cats killed for they believed they were evil, and the cats used to kill the rats which spread the plague. How come this is never mentioned when half the world died because of bogus religious beliefs?

What goes around comes around. They killed the cats and the rats killed them. They got what they deserved by killing all those poor cats.

Because of their slit pupils, Pope Innocent the somethingth decreed cats evil and the ignorant people killed the cats, the fleas from the rats killed the people. True.

Lottery balls don’t duplicate numbers, and never draw just 3. Maybe they drew a 9 and an 11?

Why is everyone siding with the terrorists?

Also, you wear white at funerals in some parts of South America.

Scott and SeaFox are the epitome of ignorant people who dare not acknowledge the fact that we Americans are murderous people as well, not to mention the Catholic church with all the blood on its hands. To blame Muslims or any other single group for the nature of man and all his selfish, single minded murderous ways is not only ignorant and unenlightened, it proves that there will always be some who keep the vicious cycle in place.

Hey, don’t forget the Jews! They were accused of poisening the wells during the bubonic plague. It was noticed that most of the afflicted homes were dark at night, or abandoned. Except the Jews. Their homes were lit; especially second story abodes. Conclusion: the Christian community came to realize that far fewer Jews were dying than were Christians. The fact that Jews practised a higher level of hygene (tough stuff like hand washing), and that there were less fleas on the 2nd floor that at ground level. Solution, a progrom – of course. If you kill the Jews the plague will go away. Everyone knew that.

That is the sort of IGNORANT RACIST Comment I have come to expect from the Small Minded InBred Rednecks in the USA. Warfare is in the nature of man and is NOT confined to any one group of people. Re-Read the history of all the WARS that the USA has been involved in. The British, The States, Spanish, The Germans, Japanese, Koreans, Vietnamese none of these few examples were Islamic wars.

“…There are millions of Christians denouncing and distancing themselves from the abhorrent acts of their extremists. ON the Muslim side there are few to none.”

That’s actually not true; many muslims do actually denounce terrorism, but it’s either ignored by the media, or when it is noticed, people quickly dismiss it as “too little, too late”, no matter how quickly the muslims respond to events. THAT convinces ME that people choose to remain ignorant to what’s really going on.

Christians and Islams would have been better off cooperating in the Middle Ages rather that fighting each other. When the Huns/Mongols were on the rampage from Central Asia, the Islams stood by while Poland and other European countries were being attacked. Likewise, Christians watched as they walked over the Middle East and were at the gates of the last strong-hold Cairo. We were both spared disaster from Central Asia when a leader died, and the campaigns ended.
