    I can taste the difference.

Bottled water usually leaves a slightly metallic and cloying taste on the tongue. This is absent in tap water.

@briatollah; Ours, too. Far too much chlorine in it. It’s like drinking laundry water. I had to buy chlorine filters for the sinks

I’ve worked in dialysis for a few years, one of the things we use is a lot of is water. Trust me when i say that there is more to water than meets the eye.The easiest thing to do is carbon filter your drinking water. I also am wondering why there is little mention of Pearl Harbor by the media in general……..agenda perhaps?

That’s because most bottled water IS tap water.

I found Mr Bond’s grave listed at findagrave.com. He is buried at Green Mount Cemetery in Baltimore. The other side of the stone gives his epitath.

zoidknight et al. I suggest you get a copy of “Tapped”, a documentary about water and an enlightening indictment of the bottled water scam industry. A drop of education is worth a gallon of opinion! Most bottled water is pumped and sold in the same state to avoid crossing state borders to avoid inspection. Municipal waters are checked many times PER DAY and are much safer than bottled. As PapaBishop says, most bottled water IS filtered (“purified”) tap water and the chemicals in the plastic containers are known carcinogens.

Tap water is controlled by numerous requirements and restrictions applied by law. Bottled water unless it is tap does not have these protections.

Pearl Harbor is ignored because no one wishes to recall a time when Republicans worked together with Democrats in a common cause to save the U.S.A. and win a war that was forced upon us.

If you think drinking water that’s full of chlorine, ammonia and other highly toxic chemicals, then go ahead and enjoy your tap water. Even deep water wells these days are full of herbicides, pesticides, pharmaceuticals and all the crap that ignorant people use all around their homes and yards as well as big agriculture, without one thought as to where all of it eventually ends up. A few years ago, Orange county, CA had hundreds of men ending up sterile and the investigation conducted concluded that the culprit was the tap water. Recently, again in Orange County, an amoeba found in the tap water has killed at least a couple of people. My wife is a biologist who works with the Delta Bay Water management department in Northern CA which manages all the water that flows from San Francisco to Los Angeles. Because of this, I’m not ignorant to all the crap that makes it’s way into all tap water. People complain about the cost of bottled water, but if you want to blame someone for this pathetic system, just look in the mirror. We have given up our power and put our trust into the corporate supported EPA and FDA and that was one of our biggest mistakes.

This all depends on what tap water and what bottled water you are using.

Bottled water and Tap Water are the same thing. It is treated H2O.

The flavor of your tap water depends on how well it was filtered, what chemical treatments are used in it, and the quality of your pipes.

The flavor of bottled water is determined by its treatment process, whether they added anything to it, and the effects of the bottle.

Spring water is jsut water from a spring. Drinking water or filtered water typically goes through a reverse osmosis filter. Distilled water is distilled into pure H20

Some companies add minerals to help with flavor or to help your body absorb it.

We live in an industrial city and our water is horrible. It is expected that you are going to filter it when it reaches your house. Our shallow well water smells like sulphur. We purchase filtered water for drinking, but plan to get a water softened and filter soon.

Dasani is good tap water, and other bottled waters are typically the same just added filters.

The machine out in front of the grocery store that fills the 5 gallon tanks is just using city water with good filters.

The people in Quincy, Illinois are aware of the difference!! Brown algae from the unusually low Mississippi River reacts with the chlorine and – well, lets just say that the local grocery stores have a problem stocking bottled water!! Safe to drink if you can’t smell or taste.Carthage, ill – similar problem caused by very low lake levels. And just last year, the Mississippi was on a rampage, and now at record lows?

I was only two when Pearl Harbor was attacked. But I did follow the Korean War, which is now known as “the forgotten war”.(Not forgotten by a local man that was jumped by a N Korean!)

Of course it matters strongly where you get your tap water. Here in SoCal the tap water tastes like you were licking a piece of limestone, it’s awful tasting shite from the Colorado River. “Back home” in Detroit, where the water comes from Lake Huron, the tap water tastes just wonderful.

No 1 plastic is not safe for drinking water. No 2, 4 and 5 are ok. You need your bottles that you have.
