So unlike the American public it seems Gary here has seen the details of Romney’s econmoic plan ad has a list of these loop holes that will close and stop the deficit. PLEASE PLEASE Gary share them with the rest of us!!!!
But echoraven, the left tell us that in every case of Obama’s failures, we have to trust that things would have been worse if Obama hadn’t been in office.
So, no matter how bad things get under him, it’s not his fault, and in fact we must praise him for saving us!
Obama gets a booklet of infinite free passes, and if he gets a second term, you can be sure they’ll be using a lot more of them!
I imagine there are a lot of idiots voting for both candidates, but a lot of smart people are voting for Obama. Anyone who has looked at Romney’s plan for the economy, for instance (like The Economist and The Financial Times, both of which endorsed Obama). "Mr Romney has an economic plan that works only if you don’t believe most of what he says.” — The Economist.
I would like to pose this to you regarding Medicare: first off, I am on the e-mail list of HHS. You can easily get on it. They send newsletters weekly, I think, which detail cases of prosecuted fraud. There are always several of them in each newsletter. These people are serious. Much of the cuts to Medicare will be paid for with the reduction of fraud and abuse, which is what even conservatives want to do.
Also, consider the Romney plan for Obamacare: repeal it. This means that the concept of pre-existing conditions and their non-coverage returns. Forget what he said about his plan covering pre-existing conditions: he had just finished saying his plan was to let the states figure it out.
Now, the Ryan plan for Medicare was to give you some money to buy your own insurance. First off, how many Medicare recipients do not have a pre-existing condition? If that’s the case, most of those people will not be able to afford anything, assuming choices would even be available. And, if the government gives money to seniors (should we now call these people moochers and takers?), what’s to stop the insurance industry from jacking up prices by that very same amount? Do you really think Mr. Romney would stand up to the insurance companies under those circumstances? Or would he just let the “free market” work?
As a healthcare practitioner who has done his homework, I can guarantee you a better outcome with Obama as president. There are other things worth worrying about.

Gary just sees the way to more prosperity for that one-tenth of one percent, while the rest of the nation is pushed into further debt?

True enough; pretty much the only place where neo-fascism is really welcome is in the tea party.

Too many Americans have lost faith in themselves – they want to get on the bus that offers them a free ride.
