Why are the gaudy mansions in America not protected with razor wire and shards of broken glass like in Mexico? It’s a social contract that was forged with the blood of the poor, of union workers and organizers, of black people and anyone who was needed as grist for the ventures of the rich..It doesn’t amaze me that our government refuses to prosecute rich people who steal and cheat with even a fraction of the zeal they prosecute petty drug dealers and car thieves—rich people expect the government to passively aid them and the government almost always does (noting that Madoff’s crime was screwing OTHER rich people). .It DOES amaze me, however, that not one thieving billionaire miscreant has been found gutted and hanging from a tree by some stupid, angry, poor violent mob whose scant miserable lives were stolen from them..THAT is the social contract that America has become and quite frankly it’s a damn better deal for the rich than it is for the people who get a handful of food stamps and a crappy government apartment..People who pay 15% of their billions in taxes and complain about it can suck it if they think they have a raw deal here. They should be thankful that they still have intact entrails.

Kids coming to my house will get some sweet, juicy apples that I had sent from overseas. There may be some traces of lead contamination, but nothing to worry about.

I think he’s saying that the wealthy people in places like Brazil and China need to have armed protection from the citizens of those countries. The added jobs for security guards are one of the parts of my plan to destroy the middle class that I’m most proud of.

The real “trick” was “Reaganomics” and even GHW knew it was the worst Halloween trick, ever, “voodoo economics”. Odd, how when he got tabbed to carry the flag, he turned his back on reality too.

They get to pay it later in inflated dollars, from their parent’s savings and assets.

I am guessing that blaming situations on Reagan, Bush, Obama, etc. is symbolic, since it is easy to mention just one person for focus. I am also guessing that we all know that there were 500 clowns (representing US) going along with the stupid directions towards a mirage. And we all know that it takes over two years for legislation to make a significant impact on the economy.

Yep, Reaganomics brought the world 30 years of prosperity. Did you make out well like most people did?1) Reagan raised taxes.2)In case you don’t recall, we were in a recession during the George H W Bush Administration.3) The unemployment rate went from under 5% to 10% during the George W Bush Administration.

Believe me, it’s no TREAT as we approach retirement knowing that the scandalous politicians have been raiding the Social Security “Trust Fund” (What trust? What fund?) and have left nothing for us to look forward to. Maybe that’s why they keep telling us to postpone receiving our SSA check because they don’t want us to find out that there isn’t anything there.
