Oh, what are they, Val: Mozartkugeln? They were a favorite of my late mother when she was in Austria.

If nobody likes it, who will finish it after if there’s some left over??

My parents always hid the Halloween candy so that we girls wouldn’t get into it, especially if there were bubblegum involved.

I have a diabetic in the house. The leftover candy goes to work the next day.

Buy candy with coconut in them. Works every year.

I don’t give out candy. I buy non-food treats (like stickers and fake tattoos) to give out instead.

I gave leftover chocolate bars to nearby senior centers most years. This year I am giving hard candy to the random kids but making cupcakes for the kids who regularly visit me and their families.
