I really wish her family would back off and let her be happy, although I’m looking forward to the “Evie counter-offensive”, it should be a doozy, she’s well able to take care of herself…

That’s right, Holly, she is cool because she’s building houses around the world and doing what makes her happy.

In the upcoming confrontation between Val and Evie, my bet is on Evie.

I’m with Burgundy2 on the extent of the relationship.
Looks as if Val might be starting to teeter on the edge of possibly maybe coming to terms with Evie’s love life. Unless I m reading too much into her face in today’s strip….

It doesn’t matter whether Val comes to terms - Evie will do as she likes;-) My daughter wants me to change things around in my house for her occasional visits - not gonna happen!

I agree with ‘vldazzle’, Evie is a full grown woman and will do what she likes regardless what Val thinks. Val grow up.

Val is first and foremost a pragmatist–she’s not going to have objections where others find it normal or cool. If everyone else has no problem with Evie having a younger man in her life, Val will deal with it. She can see the shape of changes though, and that’s a stress.
