Does the sign on the window just say “EAT”?? I’d like to think it says “EAT AT JOE’S”, just like in the old Tex Avery cartoons.

When you don’t get the whole spoon back it’s about strong enough

I was weaned on Navy coffee. And my dad’s attitude was “if the Good Lord had wanted cream and sugar in the coffee He’d have put them in the beans”.

So Broomie managed to escape the firing squad (see yesterday’s strip)…

Don’t sneer at our coffee. You will also grow old and weak!

Only 3 kinds of coffee – the spoon stands up, the spoon dissolves, and finally the cup dissolves.

And you need to drink it fast before it melts the cup.

Apparently, this diner serves Kryptonian coffee.

Strong coffee is good, but I do add sugar and vanilla creamer. That’s my choice.
