Wink may have jumped stations. Local news/sports/weather personalities do that all the time. Guess we’ll find out tomorrow.

No, there’s no real-life parallel to Nate’s obsession with Wink Summers. I’ve just always thought local news programs’ obsession with the weather is sort of funny.

I love how they do 7-8 minutes of weather, mostly telling us what it’s already been like earlier, in what should be a 60 second news item. Too many computer graphics available and a programmer justifying their existence. Just give me tomorrows forecast Chip/Wink ‘cause you haven’t got a clue to the following day!

we have an hour long local news show with a weather report every ten minutesreally, no big changes – no giant meteors, gojira ramapaging, just hot and continuing
