Hmm… did he teleport through time as well? ;) Or just jump from one comic ‘universe’ to another?

Maybe he’ll meet one of the Dragons of Pern, they could travel through time as well as teleport.
(And why haven’t the Dragon books ever been made into a movie or miniseries?)

I wonder which one is worse: dealing with the Huns, or dealing with the Pointy-Haired Boss and the CEO at Dilbert’s company?

And Catbert… and Mordac… and various others.

@Bruno: they tried in 2002. A pilot for a series was all set to go, but it was cancelled at the last minute. Seems the script writers got carried away, and the story lines were veering too far from the original premise, making it more like Buffy’s world than Pern. Ms. McCaffrey had sold the film rights in 1996, so she couldn’t do anything about it anyway. A big screen movie was planned, but hasn’t come about yet.

in one strip, Dilbert and Wally’s future selves traveled back in time, so maybe time travel in the comic universe is more common than what we think. Some day Prince Valient will appear in Hagar the Horrible and have a battle Royal for the last turkey leg at the feast.

Probably for the same reason the Prydain Chronicles have never been made into movies (Disney’s failed attempt at “The Black Cauldron” does NOT count).

Two more “highly ineffective people” for Dilbert to deal with. BTW, nice rendering of Dilbert by Parker and Hart!

    Think Dinotopia, only less dynamic.
