    Aye it would seem that the sport of soldiers of Id are strange indeed. But at least it gives them practice and accuracy. Now if ONLY they could actually use it on the ENEMY?

    It’s a football joke… a kicker in football tries to kick the ball through the uprights of the goal post; if successful, the kicker’s team gets three points.

    Yep, most Sunday strips have a title panel and a second panel, both of which are omitted by many many newspapers.
    .
    My major complaint about the practice is that Doonesbury has always been an eight-panel strip and almost every newspaper I have read omits the first two. Dith–picable!

    Per the gold paint and the bird walking thru it:
    I remember the fun Bugs Bunny had with some rocks and a can of gold paint! He also had a chihuahua named Tinfoil pulling his dogsled.
