Wasn’t it when the eyes are blue or green? Red for anger, white for fright, orange for agitation?

Aye sure and War works the same way …….the enemy are the ones firing AT you….Friends are firing at the ones firing at you.

No eye color changes for the usual terrestrial dragon. Though eyes turning red is a universal symbol of anger.

Mistakes can be made and the “friendly fire” can kill your men. It happened to Stonewall Jackson.

Sometimes friendly fire keeps a soldier alive to go home – I am sure that it has happened(to officers from draftees) many times.

Anyone remember the Bertram readers, ie Bertram and his Funny Animals. It seems he got tired of shoveling coal into the furnace (This was back when coal was the prime fuel) and when someone had a dragon to sell, he jumped at the chance.
Only problem was, he had to feed the dragon coal before he’d stick his head into the furnace and blaze away. Next problem was that the dragon was requiring more coal than the furnace did!
And where was his dad when all this was going on? As usual, in Omaha on business.
Bertram was a great series, but as usual, when someone has a success, someone pops up and claims their idea was stolen.
