    Wasn’t it when the eyes are blue or green? Red for anger, white for fright, orange for agitation?

    Sometimes friendly fire keeps a soldier alive to go home – I am sure that it has happened(to officers from draftees) many times.

    Anyone remember the Bertram readers, ie Bertram and his Funny Animals. It seems he got tired of shoveling coal into the furnace (This was back when coal was the prime fuel) and when someone had a dragon to sell, he jumped at the chance.
    Only problem was, he had to feed the dragon coal before he’d stick his head into the furnace and blaze away. Next problem was that the dragon was requiring more coal than the furnace did!
    And where was his dad when all this was going on? As usual, in Omaha on business.
    Bertram was a great series, but as usual, when someone has a success, someone pops up and claims their idea was stolen.

    @route66paul

    I had often heard that the biggest roadblock to becoming Captain, Major etc was surviving as a Lt. in battle!

    I was a little worried when I read Hagar the Horrible this morning.
    But Henry is looking hale and hearty.
