“The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.” ~Mitch McConnell, Senate Minority Leader, (R-Ky.), October 2010

That is always the intent of the opposing party. It comes around every four years.

indeed. and interestingly, both parties seem far more concerned with that than with running the country well.

The democratic senate has not passed a budget in years.
Like FDR (who was wrong look it up) Obama thinks that its possible to tax and spend our way back to prosperity. It never works. Look at Carters presidency. The wonder of what is going to happen next. How far the national Debt will balloon has people who HAVE anything left desperately trying for figure out how to not lose anymore of it. We are right at the brink of disaster, real disaster that will spread world wide and the administration actually seems to he shouting “JUMP! JUMP!”

If everyone that voted for Obama would get out and work the economy would be booming. Sadly they are waiting for their handouts.

Since Clinton abolished welfare in ‘94, they’ve got a long wait.

Of course, I’m sure you consider unemployment a handout. The people paid their insurance premiums, but those should all go directly to their employers. Those who are laid off and collect their unemployment benefits are just freeloaders who should just get to work and not leech off their own insurance policies that they paid for.

Why so we can get the worse one instead? Obama is a right winger but he still gives sops to the Liberals on culture but for the banks and the military an the spooks he is to the right of GWB.

Without those ‘hand outs’ the Depression would be deeper. Where are all those jobs the Republicans promised?

Better yet, where are all the jobs Obama promised nearly 4 years ago?

Employers pay unemployment insurance not employees. Kills your argument.

If Obama is so ‘right wing’ we should elect a real right wing candidate to do it right.

You called them ‘hand outs’. The jobs the Republicans want people to have are being blocked by Obama.
